    Prince El Hassan encourages a move towards regional commons - الأمير الحسن يقدّم تصوّراً شاملاً لتعزيز الأمن الإنساني في العالم

    HRH Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan gave the opening address of the Second Caux Forum for Human Security in Montreux, Switzerland on Friday 17 July.

    HRH called for a just global order, and asked: ‘Can we move towards an age of intra-dependence, multilateralism and multi-cultural thinking?’

    HRH added that “the key to our future is to move away from customized contributions based on binary relationships, and towards a contract of generations based on regional commons.”

    Once upon a time at a dinner party, way back when I was 18 and after a couple glasses of wine, I got into a heated argument over art with a man twice my age with piercing blue eyes and a spirit larger than life.
